The Annual Teen Beach Trip

The annual Teen Beach Trip with the Y&F ministry was and always is a one-of-a-kind experience. Words can barely describe the bonds that are formed, the hope that is offered, and the foundation that is laid. Every year we rent a beach house and take 40 teens to North Myrtle Beach for a time to bond, reflect, and inspire them in their relationship with God. Read more The Annual Teen Beach Trip

HOPE worldwide – Nepal Aid

Thanks to the many who rushed to support HOPE worldwide’s most recent disaster response efforts in Nepal following the earthquake on April 25. Your donations are already making a difference as we are actively providing food, shelter, medicine and hope to many. HOPE worldwide aims to serve 20,000 people through various services and 20 tons of relief supplies. Immediately following the earthquake, our brothers and sisters in Nepal began providing food and shelter at the HOPE worldwide School in Kathmandu. In addition to this immediate response, HOPE worldwide has distributed 12,000 blankets, 1,000 temporary shelters and food and water throughout Nepal. Our work is only beginning and could not be possible without your help. If you would still like to donate, please text “HOPEWW” to 80077, or give online at

Phishing is not a sport, what are the risks?

The prominence of hacking attacks is all over the news.  A network security expert recently commented that “the most effective way to get information is through email phishing”.

To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.

You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.

(Psalms 18:25-29 NIV)

Rodney And Jennifer Fuller

Rodney became a Christian in the campus ministry at University of Georgia in 1986. He was part of the Detroit Church of Christ planting in 1989, and later led that church beginning in 1994. Jennifer was converted in 1987 in Georgia.  He and his wife Jennifer and their two daughters moved back to Atlanta in 1998 and have served in several ministries in the Atlanta family of churches. They have served in the Northview Fellowship since 2005.

Rodney and Jennifer have two daughters; Sydney, in college and Lindsey, in high school.

Rodney spoke today, January 18, 2015 on the topic:

Building the Kingdom.

  1.  I am fearfully and wonderfully made
  2.  God has given me a gift that must be used to build up His Kingdom
  3.  God Expects me to multiply my gifts. (A Sign of Faithfulness)
  4. The ultimate purpose for using our gifts is to Glorify God.

You can listen to the message by clicking here.

Saturday of this week, Rodney and Jennifer met with some of the family group leaders and on Sunday met with the North and South region family group leaders.

Please pray for the selection committee and for them to have wisdom and guidance from God to select the new leader that God intends for the Charlotte Church.
