VI. The Church

Main Point: Jesus died for the church, the body of believers to live a holy and love-filled life.

Ephesians 5:22-33

· Church submits to Christ.

· We are called to be holy and blameless.

· We are all members of the body of Christ.

Acts 2:42-47

· The church was devoted to the apostles’ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.

· The church was together and united.

· The church was sacrificial.

Hebrews 10:24-25

· We all must consider, as members of the church, how we can spur one another on toward love and good deeds.

· Never get in the habit of missing fellowship.

· The church should encourage each other as we see the day approaching.
